Gold Dust Excerpt! Plus, The Down Deep Now in Paperback

September 25, 2025

My next book, Gold Dust, book 2 in my Dust Knights series, is due out in hardcover October 7.

I’ve posted an excerpt from the opening chapter. In it, a group of runners from the Undercity stun the elite City of Cries by breaking records and winning victories despite the hostility from the city population. It’s a turning point for the team and a preview of the high stakes to come.

Read the excerpt now to dive into the world, meet the characters, and get a taste of what’s ahead.

Dust Knights Book 1, The Down Deep, came out in paperback on September 13. You don’t need to have read Book 1 to enjoy or follow Book 2, but you can always grab your copy now and revisit the story in time for Gold Dust.

The Memories of Lyshriol

July 9, 2025

The Memories of Lyshriol

This week’s promotion! I’ve made the following post on my Patreon account free for everyone, so it has no paywall. If you like what you see of my Patreon account, please consider subscribing. Thank you!

The post is an in depth answer to a reader question about my Ruby Dynasty series. They asked how the Memories operate on the planet Lyshriol, home to the Valdoria branch of the Ruby Dynasty. The Memories are the enigmatic red-robed historians who store the memories of the Lyshrioli people. They work with the Bards to record their histories into ballads.
